Local Grant-making Guidelines and Community Investors

The Global Corporate Citizenship (GCC) network consists of both full- and part-time professionals who invest corporate and local resources in their communities (i.e., via volunteerism and locally based intellectual capital) according to local strategies based on community need and guided by five focus areas and corresponding objectives. The strength of locally based GCC representatives is their detailed knowledge of their communities as well as the ability to place that knowledge into our global context.

Guidelines for Boeing Company Charitable Grants

Individual sites tailor their local investing to community needs, interpreting the focus areas objectives accordingly. For example, in the arts and culture arena, a site Global Corporate Citizenship representative may choose to support only projects and programs that promote arts education in the public schools because that particular community is weak in that area.

Additionally, some sites may only accept grant applications at certain times during the year or only accept grant applications that have received an invitation code in advance.

That's why it is strongly advised that you review the local guidelines for the area from which you are seeking support. It also is advised that you contact the site Global Corporate Citizenship community investors to discuss your project or program in advance of submitting a request. He or she may be able to provide some valuable advice that will increase your chances for funding.

Click on the location nearest you for the local grant-making guidelines for that site. If you do not see a location near you--and you know that we operate in your particular state, country or region--contact the GCC representative for that site.
