Boeing created the Defense & Government Services (D&GS) organization in 2009 to deliver integrated, cost-competitive, customer-focused solutions that can leverage the full resources of The Boeing Company in selected services markets. The organization has taken aggressive steps to improve its competitiveness in markets that demand efficiency and affordability. D&GS lowers costs for customers by leveraging Boeing's internal investments in services best-practices, consolidated purchasing and Information Technology excellence to deliver advanced services to government customers around the globe.
D&GS focus areas:
Infrastructure and Range Services -- Integrated facilities management, range and technical services, and communication and information services.
Logistics Command & Control -- Software Solutions, Logistics Operations, Supply Chain Management, Deployment and Distribution Systems, Logistics Training and Simulation Systems.
